About Recipe
There’s something about a whole grilled trout that looks so impressive. Whether grilling for a special occasion or just because you’re in the mood for something extra delicious, this recipe is sure to impress. And don’t worry – it’s not nearly as difficult as it looks!
Start by preheating your grill to medium-high heat. While it’s heating up, clean your trout and remove the innards.
Next, stuff the trout with some lemon slices and fresh herbs. You can use any combination of herbs here – I like to use thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Once your fish is stuffed, brush it lightly with olive oil.
Now it’s time to grill! Place your trout on the grill, flesh-side down. Grill for 5-7 minutes per side until the skin is crisp and the flesh is cooked through. If you find that the skin is browning too quickly, lower the heat on your grill.
